The Grade 6 students gain an understanding of micro-organisms via bread-making with Mr Bradshaw.

Students enjoy spending time with Roger Knox during his weekly visits. Roger is teaching some of the children songs on the guitar, relating stories and life experiences.

Our partner school in India, the Venkateshwar International School, recently joined us for a skype session where the students spoke about the different types of recycling we do.

Shell Questacon Science Circus visited the school to present two lively and energetic science shows using everyday materials and props.

Grade 1 and 2 began their outdoor education in mid-June, visiting the Outdoor Education Centre at Upper Freestone with Mr Licence, Ms Namour, and French language assistant Lou Hadjad.

Secondary students braved the cold in June to attend the most recent Artworx Music Theory Workshop at USQ, led by Helen Russell.

Students from Grade 2-6 have been busy creating Nature Art, inspired by British artist Andy Goldsworthy, and with assistance from artist-in-residence Chris Hume and in collaboration with teacher Sophia Lightfoot.

The Year 9 and 10 students took on a four-day Outward Bound camp in the Bald Rock and Girraween National Parks at end-April. The students acquitted themselves well, had a ball, and forged a strong and lasting bond as a result of their experiences.
