Over the last two weeks in May, some of the prep and grade 4 students helped Mr Quinton build a cluster of wigwams around the school.

The Grade 2/3 class went to the Darling Downs Zoo in late May with Mr License and Mrs Leech. They met a salt water crocodile, and visited many animals, including lions, tigers, meercats, giraffes and primates.

In late March the Grade 4 class spent an afternoon at school with Mr Licence and Mrs Mayall building a Bug Motel.

The Year 8 science students have been learning about ecosystems, and in late March some of the students assisted Mr Licence in setting up a terrarium and an aquarium.

The upper primary students in Grades 4, 5 and 6 have been learning Aikido with Chris Hulme. Aikido is a modern Japanese martial art which teaches self-defence while also protecting their attacker from injury.
