Secondary students braved the cold in June to attend the most recent Artworx Music Theory Workshop at USQ, led by Helen Russell.

Students from Grade 2-6 have been busy creating Nature Art, inspired by British artist Andy Goldsworthy, and with assistance from artist-in-residence Chris Hume and in collaboration with teacher Sophia Lightfoot.

The Year 9 and 10 students took on a four-day Outward Bound camp in the Bald Rock and Girraween National Parks at end-April. The students acquitted themselves well, had a ball, and forged a strong and lasting bond as a result of their experiences.

The Grade 6 students investigate electrical circuits, conducting a number of experiments, and creating their own designs.

Congratulations to our Year 12 students for their final result achievements. All Year 12 students did well, with everyone in the class attaining an OP, and all OPs coming in at 17 or below.

Work is progressing well on the Roy Fox Science Centre, with the builders on track to finish before school starts back in January.
